You Must Be Born Again — Could Wesley Read?

Now, I want you all to know I am very happy, not angry, laughing, I would be discouraged but I am not here to please anyone except the Lord, Jesus whose aim was glorifying God the Father.  Jesus fulfilled the Mosaic Law confirming the promises to the patriarchs.  He was crucified dead and then buried.  Then he rose from the dead as witnesses testified.  No they did not swear on the Bible in court.  They wrote the New Testament that others have since sworn on.

He had told Nicodemus, member of the Jewish Ruling counsel, already legalistically near perfection as Paul also later boasted, yet Jesus delivered the most important message ever to Nicodemus.  At night one on one.  His disciples already knew.

Jesus said, “You must be born again.”

Jesus went on to explain that born of the flesh is flesh.  That born of the Spirit is Spirit.

Jesus in John 3: 3:  “In reply Jesus declared, ‘I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.'”

Verse 5:  “Jesus answered, ‘I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.'”  [no not speaking of Baptism, born of water was a Jewish idiom for born of his mother]  Clearly seen from the next verse:

Verse 6:  “Flesh gives birth to flesh, but Spirit gives birth to spirit.”

Verse 7:  ” … ‘You must be born again.  The wind blows where it pleases.  You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going.  So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

Jumping ahead to verse 14:

Verse 14:  “Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.”  [Numbers 21:8:  The LORD said to Moses, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.”]

John 3: 16 [Jesus speaking]:  “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whosoever believes in his shall not perish but have eternal life.  17  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”

John the Baptist speaking of himself, then Jesus, in verses 33-36: “The man who has accepted it has certified that God is truthful.  34  For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives him the Spirit without limit.  35  The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands.  36  Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him.”

Wesley incorrectly reads and writes on Matthew 18.  For starters the book is written for Jews so they will have a place to start once the mystery is accomplished.  Matthew’s (genealogy proving Jesus is the Son of David, heir to the throne)  (Luke’s genealogy is different because it proves David’s bloodline through Mary … Jesus was born of Mary and the Holy Spirit)  Son of God, not of Joseph!

Matthew 5: 17-19 [Jesus speaking in Sermon on the mount]  I will read it to you like a bed time story, as I read the law to federal judges  [First the false prophet Wesley, then what the word of God on the page actually says, then I will produce the false prophet Wesley’s own words:

“Do not think I have that I have come to abolish the law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.”

Point 11. 1. in Wesley’s sermon:

“For verily I say unto you,” (a solemn preface, which denotes both the importance and certainty of what is spoken,) “Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law till all be fulfilled.”    [THIS WESLEY QUOTE FAILS TO QUOTE THE SCRIPTURE AND BETRAYS HIS GROSS MISUNDERSTANDING]

The scripture actually says:  Jesus preaching:  “I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter nor least stroke of a pen will by any means disappear from the law until everything is accomplished.”  Jesus speaks of two very specific days here.  First “until everything disappears.”  Self Evident.  Second:  “until everything is accomplished.”  John 19: 30:  “IT IS FINISHED!”

How do I know:  Jesus speaking:

Matthew 5: 19:  “Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”, objective evidence

Now he, Wesley perverts Jesus’ words here, saying least means not in the kingdom of heaven.  IN IN IN IN is the operative word.  IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.

One more time the dividing line is not Wesley or the Weslyan misdefining of HolyNISSSSS [Yeah Sarcasm]  So what of Sanctification?  Let’s ask Jesus, shall we?

John 17: 19:  “For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.

Jesus Prays for All Believers

20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one,Father, just as you are in me and I am in you.”

All believers are sanctified!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Through the Father answering the Son!

John 5: 24:  [Jesus]  “I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned, he has crossed over from death to life.”

John 6: 28, 29:  [Jesus]  Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?”  29 Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

John 8: 15:  “You judge by human standards, I pass judgment on no one.”

Preachers’ kids, raised in the rectory like Wesley are questionable messengers of God’s grace.  We are in this country working on third and fourth generations of preachers’ kids and the church is bearing little fruit, make that very little.

Wesley and others of his ilk believe they are cured and then raise a near impossible standard, especially for the newly born again and they become discouraged.  That is exactly what happened in my early walk.

Here is what Paul (only messenger to Gentiles authorized by Jesus himself) said about Wesley and his ilk:

Galatians 3: 1-10:

“You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law,or by believing what you heard? Are you so foolish? After beginning by means of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh? Have you experienced so much in vain—if it really was in vain? So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard? So also Abraham “believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”

Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham.Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.” So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.

10 For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.” 11 Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.” 12 The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.” 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.”

Galatians 5:  4:   You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.”

Alienated from Christ.  Fallen away from Grace.  NOT GOOD!  False teaching per Paul.

Lord, I complain to you about what was done to me, when I was a baby in you, by those under this witchcraft.  I praise you Lord, I did not buy it and have not taught it to anyone.  Ephesians 2:  8-10:   For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

I Timothy 1:  The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. Some have departed from these and have turned to meaningless talk. They want to be teachers of the law, but they do not know what they are talking about or what they so confidently affirm.”
