As the sea cannot be crossed without the wisdom to build a boat [people normally fly in our day] along with the additional wisdom to bring enough food and water, to survive the journey, there is wisdom required to journey across into the Kingdom of Light.
Per God through Jeremiah the Prophet, God explicitly announced a New Covenant in Chapter 31 of that book. This coming after the original failure to obey (Adam), the first murder (Cain), the first city (Nimrod) and government program (Shooting Arrows at God) from atop a tower.
Also after the worldwide flood, evident in the sedimentary geologic and fossil records for any who come asking scientific question; rather than arriving with your minds made up. DOGMA is a brainwashing resulting in a state worse than mere ignorance. A broad path that leads to Bupkis. Means: Absolutely nothing.
Jeremiah wrote the words of the Lord, also, after Abram left Ur and followed the Lord to Canaan and there received the Promise confirmed by covenant with the Lord God of Abraham. Isaac through whom the promise was reckoned and grandson Jacob whose 12 Sons became the patriarchs of the twelve tribes of Israel.
Jeremiah wrote after Moses led the people out of Egypt and into the desert where the Lord God led them for forty years to do away with the faithless generation who coward in fear, disobeyed the law, complained about the food and worshiped a golden calf in the desert.
Also after Joshua led the Israelites into Canaan to conquer it because, as God said, the sins of the tribes in Canaan were now full grown. Human sacrifice an all. Let’s carefully notice the lawgiver, Moses, was not allowed to enter the land.
Yeah, he whacked the rock twice in his own protest of the law he had given and his own disobedience was severely punished, as he was the lawgiver. Jeremiah explained the law prior given on stone tablets would in the New Covenant prophesied by God would be in the hearts of the house of Judah and written on their minds.
Therefore, law givers were no longer necessary, especially since the law was exchanged by Jesus for God’s will. Hebrews chapters 7 and 8 explain this to Jews under that law who entering the New Covenant stumbled over that Law.
Today we find a divided church stumbling over that law. As God also prophesied through Jeremiah in chapter 31: “After that time this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel.” Not, after that time with the house of Judah? Judah, the Jews rejected their messiah. If you are Jewish and reading this you must read Isaiah 53. Daniel laid out 70 weeks and the messiah was cut off in week 69.
It would be better for you to place faith in God, through Messiah and escape the coming wrath. Among the remnant.
So standing on the shore with the law, the void cannot be crossed that way. Peter testifies, in Acts 15 “Placing the Yoke [the law] which neither we nor our ancestors could bear on the necks of Gentiles, is a testing of God.” Paul in Romans 7 clearly explains his own inability to carry out the commands of the law due to sin living in him. In 70 A.D. God ended the law destroying the temple and the nation.
In 1948 he kept his word and restored the nation. In 1967 he liberated Jerusalem. In 2018 he caused the world to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s Capital. Luke spoke to an ending of the “times of the Gentiles.” John in 11: 1 in Revelation was told to measure the temple. Jesus in Matthew 24 points to Daniel and the “abomination of desolation” In 12: 9-13 we are given a math word problem. These three speak to the temple and what sits there and whom it is prepared for.
My experience includes 30 plus years contending for the faith among a denomination of people, many of whom are involved in witchcraft. Jesus is the messiah and the gospels reveal him to the world. But he ORDAINED Paul in Acts 9 to carry his name before Gentiles, their leaders and the people of Israel. Israel was the norther kingdom of ten tribes, by Jesus’s day “sifted through the nations like corn” as Hosea tells us.
The void can only be crossed by faith in Jesus as messiah. Paul tells us the law was given as a governess to lead us to Christ. Galatians is the first epistle Paul wrote. That epistle explains the error originating from Jerusalem with James’ disciples there.
Crossing the ocean in the kingdom of light is a passing from death to life as Jesus told those in Israel also explaining in Matthew 10 and Matthew 15 he was sent “ONLY to the lost sheep of Israel.”
In Galatians 5: 4 we find Paul making the situation painfully clear concerning the law:
“You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.” (NIV)
This was confirmed by Jesus in John 5: 24:
“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.” (NIV)
Paul, in agreement with Jesus (the messiah who Ordained Paul) and Jeremiah (the prophet who announced the New Covenant), the ORDAINED apostle to Gentiles announces, to Gentiles, the ministry of reconciliation at II Corinthians 5: 16-20:
And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. (KJV)
Personally I think here the KJV is closer to the Greek and the Spirit’s intent.
“So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” (NIV)
The witchcraft I spoke of was first spoken by Paul in Galatians 3: 1-10 whereby the fluffy religious [LOST] raise up the stone tablets of the law to get you to come up to their substantial [sarcasm is one of my gifts] level in religious obedience and achievement. But they are left themselves on the shore of the sea where you also will be without ship and provision to cross into the kingdom of light. I Timothy 1: 3-7 makes this utterly clear:
“As I urged you when I went into Macedonia, stay there in Ephesus so that you may command certain people not to teach false doctrines any longer 4 or to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies. Such things promote controversial speculations rather than advancing God’s work—which is by faith. 5 The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.6 Some have departed from these and have turned to meaningless talk.7 They want to be teachers of the law, but they do not know what they are talking about or what they so confidently affirm.” (NIV)
One more time, the goal is love, and you cannot get a pure heart, good conscience and a sincere faith from stone tablets. The only way across the sea in the kingdom of light is to walk upon the water by faith in Jesus who has completed all the work in himself and given to us as a free gift. John 19: 30.
