I love my grandchildren. It is torturous to watch this. Denominations that were vital, growing places where the unbelievers coming to belief in Jesus a mere 25 years ago, are stopped dead in their tracks. No growth, no fruit. Jesus did tell us we would know a tree by it fruit. The great falling away Paul spoke about just before the appearance of the Antichrist has several different meanings in churches today.
So what do we call a tree with no fruit? And why are they no longer bearing fruit? They shall all be taught by God. One of the things I have noticed is the infusion of social sciences like psychology into the church (I have a particular one in mind) and also aware of another example of the counseling to make us “better people” ideas have replaced what is taught in the Bible. I John 1: 7:
“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.”
John 6: 45:
“It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me. 46 No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has seen the Father. 47 Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life.”
Jesus to Nicodemus:
“Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
Nicodemus was raised in the Jewish Religion. Nicodemus had come to Jesus and as John said Nicodemus had heard God and learned from him. Nicodemus was a part of the Sanhedrin (Jewish Ruling Council) and as such teaching the religion handed down to him in Israel.
That religion could not save anyone. Both John the Baptist and Jesus called the ones sent by the Ruling Council (implicitly the council also) a “Brood of Vipers.” Meanwhile, Jesus sent out the twelve to Israel healing the sick, the deaf, the blind, lepers etc.
I believe we have a similar situation today. The “falling away” is very specifically defined for you by Paul in Galatians, his first Epistle (fancy word for letter) to those in the church a Galatia. Here’s what to look for:
“You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. 5 For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope. 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.”
I have had a very good weekend. The mission I set out to accomplish in the writing of my books has now begun to bear fruit. My grandsons have read the books. Then they came and told me about them and I questioned them on the prophetic evidence God boasts about and the math problems that hit precisely on the timeline of history.
They now have faith brought to them through learning from God as they learned through his word, from him. As their Papa strategically planned through the Spirit of truth.
While people, in the late seventies were coming to Christ because of the witness I was living before them, these religious and their sons discouraged and persecuted me as “not one of them.” Thank you Lord! I would not be one of them for all the money in the world.
My book notes, before I even wrote it down, brought my brother, the mechanical engineer to the truth in Jesus. THE EVIDENCE CANNOT BE DENIED! Now my grandsons are armed for the battle they face with the Bart Ehrman, Richard Dawkins, Richard Carrier, a Papal lunatic telling the world all religions, including Islam which with 1.4 Billion surrounding Israel cannot remove the Jews from the land God deeded to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. All religions are not of God and the paradigms of the alter-religious in college professorships teaching the various mis-truths and half-truths authored by the enemy of their souls.
Jesus in John 14: 6:
“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well.”
My grandsons know our Father better today. How about your children and grandchildren. That is also the intended fruit of the very unique books I have written. I am soon going to do a major edit on the first one, Misquoting Logic to zero in on the anti-Christ and his origin according to the Bible.
One of my grandsons is thirteen and he read Misquoting Logic (238 pages). He understands it well enough. The other is ten and he read Misquoting Calculus (97 pages) which focuses on the math and the statistics showing for a surety the Bible is Absolute Truth with Objective Evidence with which I prove God exists. My best advice: Pay less attention to Christian Psychologists and more attention to the prophetic books of the Bible.
II Peter 1: 16-21:
“For we did not follow cleverly devised stories when we told you about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in power, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17 He received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” 18 We ourselves heard this voice that came from heaven when we were with him on the sacred mountain.
19 We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. 21 For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.”
