Nicodemus And Jesus The Christ – Richard Dawkins God Delusion Quotes

Nicodemus and Jesus; “The Christ” (the word Christ means Messiah in Greek) speaking in John chapter 3, and, there we have a world class seminary professor of his day speaking to a carpenter from the countryside.

Richard Dawkins God Delusion Quotes are evidence he is uninterested in what he claims to be interested in knowing.  Quote:

“I am against religion because it teaches us to be satisfied with not understanding the world.”  Richard Dawkins – The Turnip’s Cousin from his book, “The God Delusion.”

This, as though 2 Billion plus believers attesting, simultaneously, in that world they have experienced God through the mystery of Christ is not a phenomenon worth  investigating.  Remember compassion:

“It is really, in a way, not Dawkins’ fault.  Those who truly lack foundational intelligence yet become articulate through monkey see monkey do activities down at the University are pathetic.  Richard Dawkins The God Delusion.  One wonders which monkey he imitates.”  Chris Queen from “Richard Dawkins The God Delusion? – Correction: The Richard Dawkins Delusion”, genuinearticle.com blog Jun 7, 2020.

The seminary professor, in John 3, Nicodemus, is asking Jesus questions because of the miraculous evidence of the works Jesus was doing.  Jesus has been healing the sick and delivering people from demons and making fine wine out of water and fulfilling prophesy about the Messiah, as the professor of the Old Testament and Jewish History, clearly understands.

Jesus, after explaining he has come to make the religious alive; rather, than dead by the rebirth in the Spirit.  Then he prophesied to Nicodemus saying, at John 3:

“Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15 that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.”

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”

Nicodemus know exactly what Jesus is pointing too.  The snake was lifted up in the desert to give people the correct picture.  The picture is a picture of the work of Christ on the cross found at Number 21:

“Then the Lord sent venomous snakes among them; they bit the people and many Israelites died. The people came to Moses and said, “We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.”

The Lord said to Moses, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.” So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, they lived.”

Further, Nicodemus knew what “lifted up” meant in both the Old Testament context and in the Roman context.  Jesus prophesied the manner of his death.  Roman Crucifixion.

Later in John we find Jesus speaking to the Roman, Pontius Pilate, who decided he wanted to let Jesus go.  Jesus and Pilate speaking in John 18: 28-37:

Then the Jewish leaders took Jesus from Caiaphas to the palace of the Roman governor. By now it was early morning, and to avoid ceremonial uncleanness they did not enter the palace, because they wanted to be able to eat the Passover. 29 So Pilate came out to them and asked, “What charges are you bringing against this man?”

30 “If he were not a criminal,” they replied, “we would not have handed him over to you.”

31 Pilate said, “Take him yourselves and judge him by your own law.”

“But we have no right to execute anyone,” they objected. 32 This took place to fulfill what Jesus had said about the kind of death he was going to die.

33 Pilate then went back inside the palace, summoned Jesus and asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?”

34 “Is that your own idea,” Jesus asked, “or did others talk to you about me?”

35 “Am I a Jew?” Pilate replied. “Your own people and chief priests handed you over to me. What is it you have done?”

36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”

37 “You are a king, then!” said Pilate.

Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”

My truth, to date in this mini-series shows the God of the Bible boasting of his precise predictive powers in Isaiah 46: 8-10.  Confirmed as his accurate prophecy by the Dead Sea Scrolls existing from around 200 B.C. Documented discovery made in 1947.

God’s Odds so far:  1/4 x 1/3 x 1/2 x 1/1 =  0.0417 that God did not write the scriptures through the prophets.  Almost zero chance.  So today we will deal with Daniel’s 1335 days in Daniel 12: 9-13:

“He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end. 10 Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.

11 “From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12 Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.

13 “As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.”

June 8, 2020 we calculated 688 AD (CE if you like) as the year the abomination of desolation was “SET UP” as Jesus indicated we would find from Matthew 24, him pointing here Daniel 12 from 5-600 years after Daniel lived.  And John in Revelation 11 also showing the same event (trampling of the Holy place by Gentiles 688 A.D.) fulfilled 650 years after the life of Jesus on earth.  Daniel 12: 12.

“Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.”

So we are looking for a date when some are blessed after the abomination of desolation is “set up.”

360/365.24 = .9857 (our familiar conversion factor reconciling the ancient 30 day lunar calendar with our modern solar calendar.

1335 lunar days x .9857 = 1315.9 solar years  again using 583 BC (year Nebuchadnezzar abolished the daily sacrifice)

1315.9 -583 = 732.9 A.D  Year in actual history when the Muslim Caliphate Army advancing into France from conquered Spain was soundly and miraculously defeated by Charles Martel in the Battle of Tours.  This left any Jews who’d fled when the abomination appeared i.e. Islam possessed Judah and Jerusalem, safely (relatively) in Northern and Western Europe.  A clear confirmation of Jesus, Daniel and John’s words on the timeline of history.

So, now God’s Odds are 1/5 x 1/4 x 1/3 x 1/2 x 1/1 =  0.0083 … or 1/120 chance God did not write the 66 books of the Bible through the 40 authors over 3500 years.

So my question:  Who among you will take 120 shooter with 119 bullets in it and spin the chamber and put it to your head and squeeze the trigger for oh say a Billion Dollars?  Richard Dawkins will.

Don’t be a Richard Dawkins.  Romans 10: 9-11:

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”

Tomorrow we will examine more hard science as opposed to the theory of Evolution with its preposterous ideas indicating an unexplained lump of mass waited Billions of years for the wind to blow through and assemble Apollo 8 and it crew to read Genesis 1: 1-9 to the entire world from lunar orbit on Christmas Eve 1968.  The revolver is loaded.  The hour is late, as my existence here unsealing the scrolls proves from what God has foretold.

Thank you for visiting with me again here today.  Thank you for reading my prophetic writings in these posts.  Please, if you have any questions leave them in the form at the bottom of this page.  Also any comments and I will answer you.  Thank you again.  Chris.  6/10/2020.
