The Bible Geek Robert Price a very interesting case. Dr. Price, likes and respects the Bible, as a former Baptist Minister, however, believes Jesus is a mythical character. Dr. Price rambles on in my opinion, a rambling diatribe, and misses the point of II Peter inasmuch as Peter is setting up for II Peter 1: 19-21, also missed by an estimated half of the church and their leaders, the replacement theology cults:
“We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. 21 For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.”
Dr. Ehrman, on the other hand presents a logical argument at several points and inadvertently added a stone to the wall in regard to paradigms where the mythologists argue the gospel can’t be true because there is no Nazareth. Nazareth, now having been found (dug up) the paradigm lives even though it is refuted this the chink in university and seminary armor.
Just today I was re-presented with the common Daniel skeptic “cism”, after the fact of historic events he wrote and the conglomerated collection ideas, allegation. Chris Queen, a guy I happen to know, fairly well has collected ideas and has completely refuted these ideas using the work of others and his own thought to permanently refute the classic Daniel skeptics’ and their faulty paradigm because Daniel is accurate in the space age and here into the information age.
Dr. Ehrman adroitly observes toward the common, “HOW CUM JEYBEZUZ AIN’T WRIT ABOUT IN UDDER FURST SANTARY RITERS STUFF” (Bart, I don’t respect these people at all, based on their logic and assumptions from a silent record) Ehrman observes with no mentions of Pontius Pilate or Caiaphas, that they surely existed and I’d add Nicodemus IS a historical character in the Jewish literature, supportive of a historical Jesus. Josephus, as Dr. Ehrman is the most well documented First Century Jew. Jesus also in the four gospels and the Epistles and the now missing, source documents (??). Q etc.
Dr. Ehrman points out, correctly, that Paul’s Epistles predate the four gospels a fact lost on most church leaders. I have applied pressure to the paradigm of the faulty doctrine of the seminarilly confused (mixing of the old/new wine in old/new skins) as they draw doctrine (as though Jesus were preaching to Gentiles) (ah Tar Tar Matthew 10: 5; 15: 24) from the synoptic gospels which were written after Paul wrote the Complete Gentile Christian Doctrine, (Galatians his Senior Project) (Romans, his thesis) (I, II Corinthians His Dissertation) as per Jesus’ own words at Act 9: 15:
“But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel. 16 I will show him how much he must suffer for my name.”
In Acts 15, we find Paul teaching the still not completely enlightened or agreeing Jewish apostles holding them accountable to salvation by faith, not by human effort in commandments of law, that faith in Jesus notice there in James’ letter to Antioch “seemed good to the Holy Spirit … .” (the non simultaneous, co-vaginal birth companion of his brother Jesus, Sincere thanks Dr. Ehrman for your logical contrast of the meanings and use of the word “brother” in the epistles James and Jesus conceived in the same womb, traveled the same birth canal, then James). Nothing irritates me more than pious garbage of the religious. They need stop it or I’ll start talking about Jesus going to the bathroom.
Paul knew James and Peter and if Jesus did not exist Paul would know about it. And certainly would not in that event kept getting his butt kicked for preaching the gospel. No one would make up a crucified Messiah, just as no man not transformed by the Spirit and honestly testifying to being beaten with rods, flogged and basically having his butt kicked for his testimony of Jesus. This of course fulfills the prophesy in Acts 9: 16 stated by Jesus himself according to Luke, via Ananias, Luke, the investigative writer and Luke and Acts.
So time to refute the agnostic and mythologist with Peter’s exhortation to pay attention to the prophetic record. Fasten your seat belts and put your crash helmets on. Here we go! Quoting Myself from June 7, 2020 for the last ten days today being June 17, 2020.
“Ezekiel chapter 4:
“Now, son of man, take a block of clay, put it in front of you and draw the city of Jerusalem on it. 2 Then lay siege to it: Erect siege works against it, build a ramp up to it, set up camps against it and put battering rams around it. 3 Then take an iron pan, place it as an iron wall between you and the city and turn your face toward it. It will be under siege, and you shall besiege it. This will be a sign to the people of Israel.
4 “Then lie on your left side and put the sin of the people of Israel upon yourself. You are to bear their sin for the number of days you lie on your side. 5 I have assigned you the same number of days as the years of their sin. So for 390 days you will bear the sin of the people of Israel.
6 “After you have finished this, lie down again, this time on your right side, and bear the sin of the people of Judah. I have assigned you 40 days, a day for each year. 7 Turn your face toward the siege of Jerusalem and with bared arm prophesy against her. 8 I will tie you up with ropes so that you cannot turn from one side to the other until you have finished the days of your siege.”
Thank you Lord God for your glorious Son and your gifts by your Spirit. Another word problem. Chris Queen (BSME, University of Kansas) 430 years. That was the original punishment God had decreed for Israel. These punishments were promised if they did not obey as their fathers agreed to do in the desert. Many blessings were also promised to them there if they obeyed. Exodus, Leviticus, Deuteronomy and Numbers contain all of these curses and blessings God promised. He keeps his promises.
Jeremiah had prophesied the Captivity under Babylon and Nebuchadnezzar, which captivity was underway while Ezekiel (slave laborer outside Babylon at the Euphrates River) and Daniel (becoming Nebuchadnezzar’s eunuch right hand man) prophesied in Babylonian captivity.
Jeremiah left behind in Jerusalem, had prophesied 70 years for the captivity. Therefore the remainder of the 430 in Ezekiel was 360 years of punishment per Ezekiel’s prophesy. But Israel did not reappear after 360 years. There was a group who returned in 70 years. The half- heart-ed partial return did not please God.
Jeremiah 25: 11:
“This whole country will become a desolate wasteland, and these nations will serve the king of Babylon seventy years.”
So a much older promise of God was then in effect’ God had promised seven times the punishment and repeated it several times so the Jews would take heed. And so those of us at the “end of days” would be able to unlock the mystery in the unsealed scrolls of Daniel.
360 x 7 = 2520 years of Diaspora (distribution of Israel and Judah (the Jews)) to the far corners of the earth. All as prophesied in the Bible.
See: Leviticus 26: 18; 26: 21; 26: 23, 24; 26: 27. Four times the Lord repeats the additional punishment for continuing disobedience after the initial punishment.
In Ezra we find our start date for our count. Ezra 1: 1-3:
In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the Lord spoken by Jeremiah, the Lord moved the heart of Cyrus king of Persia to make a proclamation throughout his realm and also to put it in writing:
2 “This is what Cyrus king of Persia says:
“‘The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah. 3 Any of his people among you may go up to Jerusalem in Judah and build the temple of the Lord, the God of Israel, the God who is in Jerusalem, and may their God be with them.
So 2520 is the total in years of 30 days [per month] before the Julian and Gregorian Solar Calendars.
We recall our conversion 360/365.24 = .9857. And .9857 x 2520 = 2483 more years of punishment in the Diaspora. So where do we begin to count? The end of the 70 years of captivity. 536. B.C. was the year Cyrus the Great issued the decree to rebuild Jerusalem. A clay baton was found in Persia bearing this decree.
(-536) + 1 + 2483 = 1948 God’s Precise landing on the timeline of history. OBJECTIVE EVIDENCE
MORE OBJECTIVE EVIDENCE: Next Daniel:
In Daniel 8: 3-8 we find “the end being told from the beginning and from ancient times what is still to come” as God boasts through Isaiah 46: 8-13.
Daniel 8: 3-8:
“I looked up, and there before me was a ram with two horns, standing beside the canal, and the horns were long. One of the horns was longer than the other but grew up later. 4 I watched the ram as it charged toward the west and the north and the south. No animal could stand against it, and none could rescue from its power. It did as it pleased and became great.
5 As I was thinking about this, suddenly a goat with a prominent horn between its eyes came from the west, crossing the whole earth without touching the ground. 6 It came toward the two-horned ram I had seen standing beside the canal and charged at it in great rage. 7 I saw it attack the ram furiously, striking the ram and shattering its two horns. The ram was powerless to stand against it; the goat knocked it to the ground and trampled on it, and none could rescue the ram from its power. 8 The goat became very great, but at the height of its power the large horn was broken off, and in its place four prominent horns grew up toward the four winds of heaven.”
Now 8: 13, 14:
“Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to him, “How long will it take for the vision to be fulfilled—the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, the rebellion that causes desolation, the surrender of the sanctuary and the trampling underfoot of the Lord’s people?”
14 He said to me, “It will take 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the sanctuary will be reconsecrated.”
The angel, Gabriel, goes on to explain to Daniel that the vision begins with the King of Greece (rough goat) destroying Medo-Persia (the ram). Of course the skeptics hang their hats on this actually having been written after the events, but we know better and here’s why we know better.
The first event in the vision of Daniel is Alexander the Great in his daring move crossing the River Granicus in 334 BC. Documented by Arrian and Plutarch. It is established extra-Biblical History.
Historical Fulfillment of Daniel In Our Day
So the 2300 evenings and mornings are anchored there in 334 BC and here is why we know this is true and why we know Jehovah sent the angel. Taking the evenings and mornings as the Passover celebrated by Jews, each year, from the Exodus until today. Counting forward 2300 of them we find ourselves in 1967 A.D. (CE if you prefer) 2300 – 334 + 1 (there is no year zero so we add it) = 1967. “… temple will be reconsecrated. …” It was! I witnessed it.
The year the Temple Mount was liberated by the Israeli Paratroops during their defense in the Six Day War on June 7, 1967. OBJECTIVE EVIDENCE.
MORE OBJECTIVE EVIDENCE THE MOST AMAZING EVIDENCE: “This is scientific argument of the famous Dr. Richard Dawkins??? The turnip’s cousin.
“Evolution is a fact. Beyond reasonable doubt, beyond serious doubt, beyond sane, informed, intelligent doubt, beyond doubt evolution is a fact. Most intelligent people would call this a rambling diatribe. Now, here I will provide you evidence of the missing link. But do be compassionate in remembering:

It is a turnip he imitates, now I get it. The one that just fell off the turnip truck. Richard Dawkins? This man is not to be taken seriously, by any stretch.
This man, Jesus, on the other hand is to be taken seriously at Matthew 24:
“So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.”
This reader is among those who understand, thank you Lord Jesus. Jesus, the Son of God and Messiah speaks of Daniel chapter 12:
“Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. 4 But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.”
And in 12: 9-13 more specifically, Jesus reveals the ancient prophecy:
“He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end. 10 Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
11 “From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12 Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.
13 “As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.”
Here we are directed to a calendar of days. Calendar in Daniel’s time was a 30 day lunar calendar. The sacrifice was, in Daniel’s lifetime abolished by Nebuchadnezzar in 583 B.C. (BCE if you like, but the life of Jesus still divides time).
Making the calendars correlate. 360 (lunar)/365.24 (Gregorian solar calendar) = .9857 (conversion factor)
Now taking the 1290 days as years per the words of God in Ezekiel 4. Days as years.
1290 x .9857 = 1271.5 So Daniel’s years now correlate with our years. 1271.5 – 583 = 688.5
Revelation 11: 1, 2
“I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshipers. 2 But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months.
John’s years are already solar for purposes of our math problem. 30.44 days per month.
42 x 30.44 = 1278.48 The Gentiles trampling, we now know, was ended in 1967. 1967-1278.48 = 688.5 AGAIN!
Jesus points to Daniel’s prophesy and [then] from the other side of history John correlates. Daniel lived 600 years before Jesus (though He is alive right now from everlasting to everlasting) and John correlates perfectly from the retaking of the temple. Three prophets all land on the same point in history. How did Jesus know to do this?
This is the greatest show on earth, Richard Dawkins. Three ring circus. Daniel, Jesus and John point to the temple mount and the “abomination that causes desolation.” Set up as Jesus said. 688 A.D. the year of the founding of the Dome of the Rock. 
So we see Jesus, John and Daniel are specifically confirmed on the timeline of history, the Greatest Show on Earth is actually a creation. Dr. Richard Dawkins is fellow circus clown with Dr. Bart D. Ehrman. (Sorry Dr. Ehrman)
The three great religions claim Jerusalem. All eyes are centered there as the prophets predicted. Jews: Isaiah 46: 8-13:
“Remember this, keep it in mind,
take it to heart, you rebels.
9 Remember the former things, those of long ago;
I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like me.
10 I make known the end from the beginning,
from ancient times, what is still to come.
I say, ‘My purpose will stand,
and I will do all that I please.’
11 From the east I summon a bird of prey;
from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose.
What I have said, that I will bring about;
what I have planned, that I will do.
12 Listen to me, you stubborn-hearted,
you who are now far from my righteousness.
13 I am bringing my righteousness near,
it is not far away;
and my salvation will not be delayed.
I will grant salvation to Zion,
my splendor to Israel.”
Drs Ehrman and Price, my book Misquoting Calculus What Isaac Newton Tried To Tell Bart Ehrman, the variables of Israel’s rebirth (1948) and Jerusalem’s retaking (1967) by Jews opens in unsealing the scrolls of Daniel, as Jesus announced -let the reader understand – Matthew 24. I have been made to understand. I feel like Patrick Mahomes. We are at the End of Days.
