Mahatma Gandhi’s Life – Mahatma Gandhi Biography

Sam Harris went with Hindu and Buddhist Meditation he says.  Not being much of and expert on eastern mystic religion I am unsure how much coherency such a statement connects.  Mahatma Gandhi’s Life in thumbnail is all I really know about the Hindu Religion.

That it is wrong, as we found in regard to providing salvation in the first chapter of Sam Harris book is a given.  I am the Christian he seeks to indict.

Gandhi brought the governance of India by the British colonizers to an end in the years after World War Two.  He did it by refusing to further cooperate and enlisting India’s citizens to also stop cooperating with further colonial rule.

Gandhi was brilliant, there is no doubt.  The British understood brute force in putting down insurrection.  Gandhi understood.  Instead of fighting with the well trained superior armed force Gandhi simply stopped playing with them anymore.  So the English took their football and went home.

Gandhi became known as Mahatma Gandhi through this war of non-cooperation and non-violent refusal to cooperate.  So how could the British crush the non-violent revolution?  Brilliant!

Gandhi Murdered By A Hindu Nationalist

In the aftermath of the peaceful liberation of one of the greatest countries on the face of the earth, Gandhi had three great problems.  Christianity, Islam and Hinduism.  The division caused by the world’s great religions is a fact of life.

On January 30, 1948, a Hundu Nationalist named  Nathuram Vinayak Godse shot Gandhi three times in the chest at point blank range.  Mahatma Gandhi assassinated because Godse claimed Gandhi favored Muslims in the reorganization of India taking place there.

So along with murder of a great human being there is a reported rise in honor killings among Hindus in India and other countries.  Women are treated as second class citizens Hinduism as well as Islam it seems.  Sam Harris with his indictment of Christians for alleged discrimination against women is a farce.

Neuroscience?

Three great religions.  Only one of these can be right as Sam Harris noted in chapter one of his book, shared with you in my post yesterday.  I do apologize for saying it was from the foreword.  I made a mistake.

Now lets further discuss Sam Harris’ basic misunderstanding of the human mind (guffaw they say, he’s a neuroscience expert).  Here goes:  He is an ignorant guilty of forwarding near infantile seeding of many minds and indeed is using his “life in the worst conceivable way.  I admit this without a single caveat.  The fact that my continuous and public rejection of Christianity does not worry me in the least should suggest to you just how inadequate I think your reasons for being a Christian are.”   Sam Harris from his book chapter one in  Letter To A Christian Nation.

Sam Harris’ Disrespect For Reality

People get religion from their parents or family situation.  Walid Shoebat explains in his book, “God’s War on Terror” that he was raised as a good Palestinian to hate the Jews and was taught as a good Muslim to kill the infidel wherever you find him.

It was the contrast of the Bible with the Qu’ran and the alter-imposition of the anti-Christ as the real McCoy, that shocked him.  He says everything he was taught is evil is what the Bible teaches as good and vice versa.  Walid is guilty of Shirk, as he admits the crime of renouncing Muhammad and naming Jesus as the Son of God.

Christians too get religion from their family in the many cases I have witnessed here in America.  Religion is not salvation.  But the many claim to be Christians, and they are in a certain shallow sense.  Unfortunately many of those in leadership are this shallow variety educated beyond their ability to overcome ill programming.  More about this in future posts.

It would be the same for Hindu and Islam raised in their religions.  Jesus came to disassemble the Jewish religion and promised the “kingdom of heaven” as he said Metanoia (means change of your mind) translated as Jerome as “do penance” and by the KJV translators as repent.

My Conversion Experience

In 1979 being raised as predominantly a materialistic middle class secular child, I came to a spiritual experience of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus.  I was confronted with the Holy Spirit in power and when it was over I looked at my friend and said, I feel like I could fly.

After 30 years of walking in the Spirit and the transformation thereby, I had a further amazing experience witnessed by a thousand people it nature prophetic.  In the aftermath I struggled sorting out the religion from the relationship.  I became very interested in the 30% of the Bible that is prophetic, according to many accomplished in that field.

Walid Shoebat again helped me inasmuch as he asked in one of his videos, Rhetorically, How much of the Bible is prophetic?  His answer:  100%.

The Math And The Word

Yesterday we solved the math indicated by Jesus (Matthew 24: 15) found in Daniel (Daniel 12: 9-13) and confirmed by John in Revelation 11.  No one in a rational mind can tell me how Jesus knew this math correlating with events on the timeline of history 600 years later was there in Daniel unless he is Almighty God.  See:  Chris Queen Post 6/26/2020.

Today:  Daniel in Chapter 8:  15-27

“While I, Daniel, was watching the vision and trying to understand it, there before me stood one who looked like a man. 16 And I heard a man’s voice from the Ulai calling, “Gabriel, tell this man the meaning of the vision.”

17 As he came near the place where I was standing, I was terrified and fell prostrate. “Son of man,” he said to me, “understand that the vision concerns the time of the end.”

18 While he was speaking to me, I was in a deep sleep, with my face to the ground. Then he touched me and raised me to my feet.

19 He said: “I am going to tell you what will happen later in the time of wrath, because the vision concerns the appointed time of the end. 20 The two-horned ram that you saw represents the kings of Media and Persia. 21 The shaggy goat is the king of Greece, and the large horn between its eyes is the first king. 22 The four horns that replaced the one that was broken off represent four kingdoms that will emerge from his nation but will not have the same power.

23 “In the latter part of their reign, when rebels have become completely wicked, a fierce-looking king, a master of intrigue, will arise. 24 He will become very strong, but not by his own power. He will cause astounding devastation and will succeed in whatever he does. He will destroy those who are mighty, the holy people. 25 He will cause deceit to prosper, and he will consider himself superior. When they feel secure, he will destroy many and take his stand against the Prince of princes. Yet he will be destroyed, but not by human power. 26 “The vision of the evenings and mornings that has been given you is true, but seal up the vision, for it concerns the distant future.”  27 I, Daniel, was worn out. I lay exhausted for several days. Then I got up and went about the king’s business. I was appalled by the vision; it was beyond understanding.”

History is told by the Bible, and no other book, in advance as God boasts he does in Isaiah 46: 8-13.  Gabriel told Daniel the distant future and a type of the distant future here simultaneously.  Again pointing at Center Field:

The first event in Daniel’s vision was Alexander the Great crossing the River Granicus to defeat the Medo-Persian Empire.  This per the Bible and extra biblical historians occurred in 334 B.C./BCE.

“He said to me, “It will take 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the sanctuary will be reconsecrated.”

That phrase evenings and mornings was translated as days in the KJV.  Incorrect.  They are Passover event celebrated each year by Jews to this day.  Watch this:

(-) 334 B.C./CE + 1 (no year zero in the calendar) = 1967 A.D.  I was nine when the Jews retook the temple mount just as Gabriel told Daniel on June 7, 1967.

This event completed the variables necessary to “Unseal the Scrolls of Daniel.”  Isaac Newton understood there was math to be solved in the Bible.  But from his seat in history the equations could not be solved.  They can only be solved knowing 1948 and 1967.  The “times of the Gentiles”  Luke 21: 24.

So let’s take a look at the clock:  Daniel 12:  3, 4:

“Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.”

The angel, Gabriel told Daniel as commanded by God, “the wise” would come to “lead many to righteousness.”  Jesus gave us Paul who defined righteousness at Romans 10: 4:  Ro. 10: 1-4:

“Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. Since they did not know the righteousness of God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.”

The angel told Daniel his scrolls were sealed” until the “time of the end.”    The scrolls are unsealed.

Conclusion

Thank you for reading my post.  Thank you for visiting my site.  Please if you have comments or questions leave them below.  My prior posts are there as well.  Thank you again.  Revelation 19:  9, 10:

Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”

10 At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.”
