It’s Still The Bible
Number one bestselling book of all time? Bible Best selling book of all time. Zondervan claims 40 million copies sold annually.
The Four New Atheist Horsemen have sold some books for sure. Dawkins sold about 3 million of one of his titles. But textual critic Bart Ehrman puts them all to shame.
Dr. Bart D Ehrman is a real scholar in regard to history though I think there are obvious holes in his ideas, for anyone very familiar with scripture and the intertwining of the 66 books. He has sold upwards of 20 million copies of his books. He’s a tiny dent in the freight train of Apokalypsis. Revelation.
40 Million Copies Per Year
“No official sales projections are publicly available, but if history provides a guide, the “NIV Zondervan Study Bible” could easily sell 100,000 copies by the end of the year — probably a lot more. The new study Bible by Zondervan, a Christian publishing house in Grand Rapids, Mich., owned by HarperCollins, could follow earlier blockbuster sales. The last NIV study Bible, published by Zondervan in 1985, sold more than 9 million copies.
The Bible business is booming. There are annual sales of 40 million Bibles — from study Bibles to family Bibles to pocket Bibles. That’s not even counting foreign markets. As journalist Daniel Radosh observed, “The familiar observation that the Bible is the best-selling book of all time obscures a more startling fact: The Bible is the best-selling book of the year, every year.” Excerpt By August 28, 2015 at 9:29 a.m. CDT
Ehrman Sells More Books Than Dawkins, Harris, Dennit and Hitchens Combined
The following is taken from Simon and Schuster press release for Eheman’s book
HEAVEN AND HELL A History of the Afterlife BART D. EHRMAN
“According to a recent Pew Research poll, 72% of Americans believe in a literal heaven and 58% in a literal hell. This is also a world-wide phenomenon: there are over two billion Christians who follow Jesus, and most believe that because of their faith, they will have a glorious afterlife. Whether believers or not, nearly everyone wonders about what, if anything, comes after death, and speculation continues to feature in popular culture, like in the recently concluded and critically acclaimed ‘The Good Place.” In HEAVEN AND HELL, Ehrman investigates the powerful instincts that gave rise to the common ideas of heaven and hell and that help them endure. He comes to surprising and unexpected conclusions: neither place of the afterlife was taught in the Old Testament or even in the teachings of Jesus himself.”
The Dawkins Turnip Trial
On July 9, 2020 inadvertently I wrote a post here which I had entitled “The Dawkins Turnip Trial” since Sir Richard Dawkins claimed in one rambling diatribe to be the cousin of a turnip. I did not realize I was writing on the 100th Anniversary of the Scopes Monkey Trial. A Day In The Life (Lennon & McCartney) of a prophetic author, as my wife nonchalantly observed.
Richard Dawkins Family Portrait
Dawkins also claimed to be the cousin of a banana and I sort of wish I’d inadvertently written Dawkins Banana Trial, which is a natural for a sequel to the Money Trial, but it is the Turnip trial. Here is the Dawkins scholarly (sarcasm is one of my gifts) diatribe. Oxymoron! Oxford Moron? Yes, a Scholarly Diatribe! Here it is again:
A Rambling Scholarly Diatribe
“Evolution is a fact. Beyond reasonable doubt, beyond serious doubt, beyond sane, informed, intelligent doubt, beyond doubt evolution is a fact. The evidence for evolution is at least as strong as the evidence for the Holocaust, even allowing for eye witnesses to the Holocaust. It is the plain truth that we are cousins of chimpanzees, somewhat more distant cousins of monkeys, more distant cousins still of aardvarks and manatees, yet more distant cousins of bananas and turnips…continue the list as long as desired. That didn’t have to be true. It is not self-evidently, tautologically, obviously true, and there was a time when most people, even educated people, thought it wasn’t. It didn’t have to be true, but it is. We know this because a rising flood of evidence supports it. Evolution is a fact, and this book will demonstrate it. No reputable scientist disputes it, and no unbiased reader will close the book doubting it.” “Richard Dawkins from his book ‘Greatest Show On Earth'”
Very substantial and scholarly. While I am known for a large vocabulary, I will admit, never having had a goal to produce the large vocabulary and I had to look tautologically up on google. The redundancy in Dawkins language there is something I use in sarcastic vein to entertain the highly intelligent. Oxford huh?
Chris Queen Quote
Quote of Christopher Queen Prophetic Author published in July 10, 2020:
“I know for certain I can convict God of being God, in any reasonable court of law. Richard Dawkins cannot convict evolution as truth by any stretch.”
God boasts he tells the “end from the beginning” It is objectively stated and he either does or he does not. I have among others shown he does indeed tell the end from the beginning and from ancient time what is yet to come.”
On June 10, I also published this here, Quoting and providing the math from page nine in my first book:
Then I step over to the whiteboard and begin to state God’s words and reveal the objective evidence starting slow with Daniel 8: 13, 14:
Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to him, “How long will it take for the vision to be fulfilled—the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, the rebellion that causes desolation, the surrender of the sanctuary and the trampling underfoot of the Lord’s people?” He said to me, “It will take 2300 evenings and mornings; then the sanctuary will be reconsecrated.” (NIV)
Daniel 8: 17-21: Angel speaking to Daniel at verse 20, 21:
“The Ram The two-horned ram that you saw represents the kings of Media and Persia. 21 The shaggy goat is the king of Greece, and the large horn between its eyes is the first king. 22 The four horns that replaced the one that was broken off represent four kingdoms that will emerge from his nation but will not have the same power.” (NIV)
In 334 B.C. or BCE if you like, Alexander the Great crossed the River Granicus and defeated the Medo-Persians.
Counting 2300 Evenings and Mornings (Passover) from there (334 BC/BCE) we land in 1967 A.D. or CE. No year zero in Calendars so we add 1 for that year.
(-) 334 + 1 + 2300 = 1967
Looking back at Dan. 8: 13, 14 clear language of the angel telling us (Daniel) the end of trampling and reconsecration of the temple would occur after the 2300 Evenings and Mornings. OBJECTIVE EVIDENCE on the timeline of history in the 20th Century.”
God Overwhelms With Objective Evidence
In my posts from June 7 2020 thru June 19, 2020 I laid out a simple statistical charting like odds for winning the lottery.
Odds God wrote the Bible by my June 19, 2020 post all based on Objective Evidence proven there was 2.75 X 10^ (-) 7 = 0.000000275 chances God did not write the 66 books of the Bible through the 40 authors across 3500 years.
Let’s add Isaiah 66 as a point of Objective evidence because as we have shown Israel was born as a modern nation precisely when God said in 1948 also that the temple would be retaken by Jews in 1967. Further Daniel (chapter 12), John (Revelation 11) and Jesus indicating the math for the reader to understand (Matthew 24) these three chords intertwined for thousands of years waiting to be reveal at the “time of the end” “KEEP WATCH” See: June 10 Post: “Sensational Trials 20th Century – Dawkins Turnip Trial” for the math.
God’s Odds: 1/11 x 1/10 x 1/9 x 1/8 x 1/7 x 1/6 x 1/5 x 1/4 x 1/3 x 1/ 2 x 1/1 = 2.50 x 10^ (-) 8 = 0.0000000250. Would any alleged rational person load a 1,000,000 round capacity revolver, randomly remove 25 of the bullets and have go at Russian Roulette? From raw statistics there are here 25 chances in a million God did not write the Bible. That is what more than half of people in the world are doing.
Understand readers. I am unconcerned about winning the scholars or the wicked or fools or any of their disciples. I am interested in strengthening the faith of you who already believe.
That is the primary function of prophesy. Yes prophesy is for unbelievers so I am interested in leading people to righteousness as the prophesy in Daniel says I will do as one who understands and obeys what he knows to do, among many who understand. “You will find me when you see me with your whole heart” God.

Jesus to the Samaritan Woman at the well, John chapter 4: God wants worshipers who worship in Spirit and Truth. If you sincerely seek the truth God will lead you to it.
John 14: 6,7:
“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know[b] my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” (NIV)
Jesus said, “let the reader understand” Matthew 24.
Peter said: I Peter 1:
“We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. 21 For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.” (NIV)
Just like Jesus said:
“But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. 8 When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: 9 about sin, because people do not believe in me; 10 about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; 11 and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.
12 “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. 13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14 He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you. 15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.” (NIV)
The angel in Revelation: 19: 10:
“At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.” (NIV)
