The Scroll Of The Revelations
The book we call Revelation in our modern New Testament contains what I call The Scroll Of The Revelations. Blessings are promised for those who read the words and keep the words therein. I call it that to remind myself there are many details revealed, from our viewpoint as readers. The Scroll of the Revelations is God’s Judgments Unsealed.
The manifested beginnings of woes for dwellers on the entire earth. The word translated as Revelation is a Greek Word Apocalupsis meaning: definition: an uncovering, revealed (1), revealing (1), revelation (14), revelations (2). From Apokalupto Strongs 602.
Thus far we have seen Jesus, now glorified and in heaven, in the throne room of God, worshiped by angels and glorified elders and God revealing his will for the seven churches of the church age and veiled Hapozo now Christ the Lord receives the scroll with seven seals from Him who is on the throne who lives forever and ever. Jesus alone is able to unseal the scroll.
God’s Judgments Unsealed
The Scroll Of The Revelations is God’s Judgments Unsealed. God’s first judgment is mercy in his removal of his church from the earth. The rapture of his bride. The Bride of Christ.
Revelation 19: 9:
“Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.” (NIV)
The wedding supper is in heaven.
The Seals
“I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, “Come!” 2 I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.” (NIV)
The fledgling anti-christ prior to his empowerment by the dragon who later comes up out of the abyss. Reading the Eschatology of Islam this rider on the white horse is the Mahdi or Twelfth Imam.
“When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!” 4 Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make people kill each other. To him was given a large sword.” (NIV)
War, the Bible calls it a judgment on mankind, here the anti-christ rising, through conquest and terrible world war to ultimate power. We find later it is the false prophet who administers all of this on the beasts’ behalf. This is the Muslim Jesus who returns after being taken up, never having died, therefore, nor resurrected he is per Satan’s Word, inferior to Mohammed and the Madhi. That is not Jesus, the Christ, the one who died to take away the sins of the world, then resurrected for our justification and who sent the Holy Spirit for our sanctification. A false Christ, as Jesus also told us in Matthew 24.
When they claim to “love Jesus” deceiving the Pope and Rick Warren and others, they are not speaking of the Christ of scripture (Matthew 24). Britannica defines this clearly:
“Allah is the pivot of the Muslim faith. The Qurʾān stresses above all Allah’s singularity and sole sovereignty, a doctrinal tenet indicated by the Arabic term tawḥīd (“oneness”). He never sleeps or tires, and, while transcendent, he perceives and reacts to everything in every place through the omnipresence of his divine knowledge. He creates ex nihilo and is in no need of a consort, nor does he have offspring.” (Britannica)
Jesus in Islam is NOT the Son of God. Thus Jesus tells you in Matthew 24: 4, 5:
“Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.” (NIV)
Back to Revelation chapter 6:
“When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. 6 Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “Two pounds of wheat for a day’s wages, and six pounds of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!” (NIV)
Economic collapse, worse than COVID-19, and ultimate economic control by the beast and his mark without which no one may buy or sell in the cashless economy the technology guarding every door.
“When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” 8 I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.” (NIV)
As a type we saw Mussolini (famously rode a white horse) and Adolph Hitler who persecuted Jews, Gypsies, Slavic peoples and others, following right behind.
“When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. 10 They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” 11 Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been.” (NIV)
Those who remain on the earth (left behind) and those who believe on Jesus and refuse the mark of the beast will be killed. No two ways about it. Those who receive the mark will be subject to the second death which is the lake of fire. So do not receive the mark.
“I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, 13 and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. 14 The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.” (NIV)
Jesus foretold this in Matthew 24 the sign of the Son of Man and the people then still on the earth nearly all then possessing the mark of the beast are terrified. Amen Lord!
“Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. 16 They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?” (NIV)
The wrath of the Lamb is then poured out on the earth because those who reside there have eternally rejected God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
Those who received the mark worshiped the image of the beast whose number is 666. Simply the trinity of a man who claims he is god. Just like Nimrod. It is not that important for me to know who he is because I will not be here. It is my mission, in the Lord, to ensure as many of you who can be saved from this are not here either.
But Christ will be revealed as Paul prophesied in I Thessalonians 5:
“Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, 2 for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
4 But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. 5 You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. 6 So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober. 7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. 8 But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. 9 For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 10 He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. 11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” (NIV)
Paul explains the final outcome of all these things in II Thessalonians I:
“We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing. 4 Therefore, among God’s churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring.
5 All this is evidence that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering. 6 God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you 7 and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. 8 He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might 10 on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.”
11 With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith. 12 We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.” (NIV)
The anti-christ, whom Paul calls the “man of lawlessness” is foretold in II Thessalonians 2:
“Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, 2 not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. 3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
5 Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? 6 And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. 7 For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, 10 and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.
Stand Firm
13 But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as firstfruits[b] to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. 14 He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings[c] we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.
16 May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, 17 encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.” (NIV)
Be encouraged. Romans 10: 9, 10:
“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” (NIV)
