Fifth Seal

Revelation Fifth Seal. By this time we have been through the entire church age, then the rapture of the church, Rev. chapter 4, in my opinion, including all of the Smyrna and Philadelphia churches and all those who overcame the sins described in each period.
The seals 1-4: 1) Anti-christ; 2) World War III; 3) Worldwide Famine; 4) Death by Sword, famine, plague and beasts of the earth.
Fifth Seal John sees souls under the altar:
“I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. 10 They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” 11 Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been.”
The Martyrs And The Deed
This is a great mystery to many a Bible reader and scholar. They are martyrs crying out from beneath the altar crying out to God and asking vengeance on those who killed them.
Many have confused themselves expecting them to hold the pious attitude, “Lord forgive them for they know not what they do.” Fact is they may well have held such a view when murdered.
Now the Lord is unsealing the deed to the earth; unrolling and unsealing judgment. Heaven is in judgment mode. Jesus is now the great King reclaiming his kingdom from a the biggest thief in creation.
God mercifully executing increasing severity in chastisement to separate the wheat from the chaff. Wanting all men and women to cry out to Jesus for mercy.
The Reformation Failure
Jesus has paid the sin debt in universality. But he has given men and women free will to choose their own eternal inheritance. Calvin? Arminius? (Denominations) (The tiny towers of Babel) Indeed. No wonder Jesus said the reformation church was dead.
Then we have the other camp who believe improving the flesh by the flesh because we are “convicted” and believe God gets happy, with new and improved corrupt sinful natures and flesh, because we perform well.
Paul is the sole teacher of Gentiles. (Acts 9: 15) their governors and rulers and the lost sheep of Israel having no country, no priests, or temple by the time of Jesus for 750 years scattered westward (Hosea) and no remembrance as opposed to Judah (Jews) whom failed to recognize the time of the Lord’s coming. They, Jews and Israel, divided per Jeremiah at 31: 31-34.
The Rapture
The Christians pleasing to Jesus have by this point in the Revelation been taken up before the “Time of Jacob’s Trouble” i.e. “The Seventieth Week of Daniel.” As Enoch (a type of the rapture) before the worldwide flood was taken up, as will be shown below.
Clearly in Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic imperfectly translated into English this rapture is explicitly stated (Matthew 24: 41; John 11: 23-25) against the Hebrew thought of Jesus’ day.
The Feast of Trumpets (Rosh HaShanah) is next to be fulfilled. It is important for us to understand the Feast of Trumpets to identify those souls under the altar in Revelation Six.
Lukewarm Laodice
“Church historian and theologian David Wells had called our contemporary generation of pastors ‘the new disablers’ because they have abandoned the traditional role of the pastor as a broker of truth to his congregation and replaced it with a new managerial model drawn from the professional world which emphasizes leadership abilities, marketing, and administration.
As a result the church has produced a generation of Christians for whom theology is irrelevant and whose lives outside the church do not differ practically from those of atheists.” — William Lane Craig”
(Not all churches of course)
Yesterday I laid bare the end result of this abandonment of the dusty old Bible and the old rugged cross, for the new and improved ideas and fluffy worship songs, coming from our magnificent higher education forums in the church from my neighborhood. A dead church.
There is another denomination losing its way, in the same direction, that I know, just like I told them. He sent you a talking donkey but you would not listen to him. Though a few did.
The Big Surprise
Many in the world will be “the standing stunned” holding their psychology books and commentaries when the trumpet sounds. The Jews will suddenly be wide awake.
Jesus in Matthew 24:
And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. 34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
The Day and Hour Unknown
36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
Two Trumpets of Matthew 24
Jesus speaks of the loud trumpet call and the gathering of his elect back in the nation of Israel. The silver trumpets Moses made were used as signals to Israel. They were used as a call to battle and other things. (See: Numbers 10)
The trumpet blasts Jesus speaks of are reflected in Numbers 10: 8-10 calling the Jews back to Israel beginning in the early Twentieth Century.
Matthew 24: 32-35 Jesus tells them of the reemergence of Israel and assures them the end is coming in the generation that sees this reemergence of Israel which happened in 1948. Seventy two years ago. Well he did say “right at the door.” WAKE UP! The elect on the account of God’s promise to Abraham. (Calvin goofed).
No One Knows, Or Do They?
Now that we have finally understood Jesus in regard to the season lets look at the what and the and the when. The what is one left in the field and one taken and one at the grinding mill left and the other taken.
The rapture as in the days of Noah, Enoch was taken prior to the flood judgment. HARPOZO (Har-Pod-zo) and the when is laid bare before the eyes of the apostles and every first century Jew. He told them in verse 36:
“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” (NIV)
See he stated it. But you’ll need to ask a Jew. So lets ask some Jews.
Feast of Trumpets

From jesusplusnothing.com:
“So… how is this feast going to find its prophetic fulfillment? I think it is fair to say that the feast of Trumpets is probably the most debated feast in terms of its fulfillment. Is it the rapture of the church? Is it the regathering of Israel? Is it the 7th trumpet that is blown in Revelation when ‘the kingdom of this world becomes the kingdom of our Lord’? Prior to my recent study of this feast, I believed, as some others do, that the feast of Trumpets found it’s fulfillment in the blowing of the ‘Great trumpet’ used in the regathering of Israel prior to the second coming of Jesus as mentioned in Matt 24:31 and Isaiah 27:13. I now believe this is associated with the day of Atonement. The more I examine this topic, the more evidence there is that the feast of Trumpets finds it’s fulfillment in the rapture of the Church and its connected resurrection of those ‘in Christ’. I also believe that the entire ‘days of Awe’ period mentioned above finds its fulfillment in the coming 7 year period often stated as ‘the day of Jacob’s trouble’ or ‘Daniel’s 70th week’ which leads up to the return of Christ at His second coming in glory (fulfilling the day of Atonement). But all of this is preceded by the feast of Trumpets. It is what kicks this whole period off. And that event, as stated above, is fulfilled I believe at the rapture/resurrection of the church. The following chart may help make it clearer.” END QUOTE
I believe he has this right whereby the first trumpet discussed in Matthew 24:31, is that regathering signal trumpet (Numbers 10, uses of trumpets) mentioned in Isaiah 27: 12, 13:
“In that day the Lord will thresh from the flowing Euphrates to the Wadi of Egypt, and you, Israel, will be gathered up one by one. 13 And in that day a great trumpet will sound. Those who were perishing in Assyria and those who were exiled in Egypt will come and worship the Lord on the holy mountain in Jerusalem.” (NIV)
Special Feast For Jews
Feast of Trumpets (No I’m not a Torah Guy Hebrews 7: 11-22) and several things Jews believe:
“Tishrei 1 is also first day of the Jewish new year in their civil calendar. It is also believed that Adam was created on this day so it is not only the start of a new year but is the birthday of the human race!”
Noah exited the Ark on Tishrei 1:
“Genesis 8:13 ‘By the first day of the first month of Noah’s six hundred and first year, the water had dried up from the earth. Noah then removed the covering from the ark and saw that the surface of the ground was dry.’
Yep, it was the first day of the first month which is Tishrei 1 – the same day that would become the feast of Trumpets, or Rosh HaShanah, the new year, the new beginning! Noah saw his new world on this day. It is quite likely that this is a type for resurrected believers seeing their new world (Heaven) for the first time on this day.”
Resurrection Day
Resurrection of the dead will occur on the Feast of Trumpets, per Jews ancient belief:
“Jewish belief is that the resurrection of the dead will occur on the feast of Trumpets. This ‘awakening blast’ is the sound that is said to awaken those that sleep (have died) raising them to life. The great passage in Isaiah speaks of this ‘awakening’ that occurs at the resurrection of the dead:
Isaiah 26:19 ‘Your dead will live; Their corpses will rise. You who lie in the dust, awake and shout for joy, For your dew is as the dew of the dawn, And the earth will give birth to the departed spirits.’
Fulfillment: At the rapture, the trumpet will be heard and the dead will rise!”
Paul (A Jewish Scholar) Agrees In I Thessalonians
Accord. I Thessalonians 4: 16-18:
“For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.” (NIV)
Notice in Revelation 7: 13-17:
“Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?”
14 I answered, “Sir, you know.”
And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore,
“they are before the throne of God
and serve him day and night in his temple;
and he who sits on the throne
will shelter them with his presence.
16 ‘Never again will they hunger;
never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat down on them,’
nor any scorching heat.
17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne
will be their shepherd;
‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’
‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’” (NIV)
The elder said these are those who have come out of the great tribulation. Proof we are going through the tribulation, some say. But only if you have reading comprehension issues.
Glorified Christians
In verse 7: 9 we find for certain these are believers in Jesus who have washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb:
“After this [after the sealing of the 144,000 JEWS … not Jehovah’s Witnesses] I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10 And they cried out in a loud voice:
“Salvation belongs to our God,
who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb.” (NIV)
Not going through the Great tribulation where we have found the raptured church with bodies (glorified bodies) waiving palm fronds and worshiping in heaven. We are not through the beginning 7 seals in the Great tribulation and we have one small clue of which I’m aware as to the when is in 2 Thessalonians 2: 1-12:
“Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, 2 not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come.” (NIV)
The early church had been taught pre trib rapture by Paul so they were in fear they’d missed the flight because of some false teacher.
Rapture Controversy
Preterists, the book of Revelation was written after 70 A.D. so these things can’t “soon come to pass” (You have a flat tire and no spare).
Post tribulation we are between the fifth and the six seals nowhere near seven bowls of wrath coming after seven trumpets. (You’ve thrown a rod and need a complete overhaul).
NOTE: Most don’t beat up their bride before the wedding.
Mid tribulation we are at the point of the great earthquake at the sixth seal and we have the church waiving palm fronds in heaven. We see them here very briefly.
They are presented, in my opinion after they were raptured in chapter 4 with John’s vision of the door standing opened in heaven and the trumpet voice and command to “come up here.”
Paul, apostle to the Gentiles (Acts 9: 15 Red Letters) in 2 Thessalonians 2: 3, 4:
“Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.” (NIV)
Man Of Lawlessness
Satanicus Maximus is plainly visible as he has been since the reformation and the appearing of Jesus is imminent. Now, however, he [man of lawlessness] is forming the alliances to gather all false religions under Mystery Babylon, Mother of Harlots.
Paul goes on to tell us what the “man of lawlessness” will do once he is returned political power received from the beast. Paul also reminds his hearers, now readers, these things he told them.
The secret power of lawlessness was already at work and would be revealed, manifested, whom Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.
All of this transitioning and contrasting “those beneath the altar” without glorified bodies told to wait until the completion of their number killed during the remainder of the Great tribulation none of whom have been clothed, the corruptible, with the incorruptible.
The Parable Of Jesus
Now the parable which our western commentators over centuries have not discerned, but is plain as day to a first century Jew (the disciples) and many modern Jews, whom most have not read Matthew it is presumed.

“In Jewish thought this feast was also the hidden day. It was said to be hidden from Satan. It was ‘hidden’ because they didn’t know the exact day it would begin due to the fact that they had to first sight the smallest part of the new moon. Thus it was a two day feast because they didn’t want to celebrate it on the wrong day. Concerning Rosh HaShanah, the Jews would typically say “Of that day and hour no one knows.”
Fulfillment: Concerning His return, Jesus said the exact same thing:
Matthew 24:32-36
“Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. (33) Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. (34) I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. (35) Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. (36) No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.'” (NIV)
While Gentiles read this to mean no one knows when He will return, the Jewish mind would likely see Jesus alluding to the feast of trumpets, Rosh HaShanah, in making this statement!” jesusplusnothing.com
My opinion: God is waking Abraham’s children in Israel. The Jews. Jesus said: “Keep Watch.” The first worldwide event will be the sign of his appearing causing the world to mourn (President Eisenhower saw to it by filming it all) then the Jews regathered in Israel, declared independence. The US and then the U.N. recognized and chartered Israel. Israel is the Jewel of the world now as prophesied. Here (God Of Evidence) to see the fulfillment on my posts as Objective Evidence.
The ultimate wake up call would be for God to begin by removing the church on Rosh HaShanah, the Jews would typically say “Of that day and hour no one knows.”
Instantly every Rabbi in the world will begin in Matthew and learn the genealogy of their king and the prophesy he fulfilled as suffering servant on a donkey, cut off but not for himself, as Daniel received from Gabriel.
Romans 10: 9-13:
“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (NIV)
