HIGHER EDUCATION???
College and Advance Degrees and the rest of the educational confusions here in the Twenty First Century. They can’t help it, they do not have ears to hear, because they were raised in religion. Being so raised, they repeat what they were taught. But is it what the Bible means?
HEBREWS WRITTEN TO CURE ISRAEL OF BACKSLIDING “TO THE LAW”
Paul, this writer believes, anonymously, wrote Hebrews, a 2 X 4 to the head, trying to awaken and save some of the converted and converting Jews from the now completely fulfilled and therefore, obsolete law of Moses. Never forget, it was political law i.e. the constitution of Israel. It did not cease as political law until 70 A.D. It was ended when the Lamb of God said, “It is finished.” John 19: 30. The veil in the temple instantly torn from top to bottom. Paul explains the “Falling Away” and it is juxtaposed to Israel’s law and what many pulpits proclaim today: Galatians 5: 4: “You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. 5 For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope.” Some claim they are holy but they aren’t even in possession of righteousness yet, according to scripture. Declared Holy, by the blood of Jesus, by the Father, is different than actually being so. Israel was a clearly defined land lying within Borders God Prescribed to Abraham in Genesis. That set of boundaries, if given by God, clearly refutes other claims. Here it a visual of Israel’s borders, as God gave it to Abraham.
ISRAEL, AS PREDICTED IS THE CENTER OF TENSION
This IS, as the Bible states, long in advance, the boundaries given and the prophesied political center of tensions, in the geopolitical focus for much of the world in our day (2018). The alignments of Ezekiel 38, 39 are in view on the globe right now. A couple of those nations remain a mystery but several of them are named and clearly identified. Persia (Iraq/Iran), Syria, Libya, Ethiopia then, the question, who will be revealed as Gog and Magog? Turkey? Russia? To the North is all we really can know, so far.
THE LAW IS SET ASIDE IN JESUS

Back to Paul, Hebrews, and correction of the Hebrews and the “seminarily confused” (my coined term). In religion, as in medicine, and all other fields, the student accepts what is regurgitated by instructors, who listened to the regurgitation before them, and then they all write thesis, then dissertations and text books (non-fictions and novels) ending up with it Piled High and Deep. Is it accurate?

Fortunately with the Bible we have a Prophetic Record (confirmed accurate from before about 200 BC approximate dating of the Dead Sea Scrolls) which makes it all the more interesting that there is so much confusion. What would come to pass is stated by God through prophets in advance. From Israel’s borders to the coming new covenant and the predicted theology, what God meant. Seminaries and religious leaders do not pay attention to the prophetic record as Peter told them to do, so the many have missed the mark.
HEBREWS
Paul (CQ Believes) says Hebrews 7: 11-22:
“11 If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood—and indeed the law given to the people established that priesthood—why was there still need for another priest to come, one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron? 12 For when the priesthood is changed, the law must be changed also. 13 He of whom these things are said belonged to a different tribe, and no one from that tribe has ever served at the altar. 14 For it is clear that our Lord descended from Judah, and in regard to that tribe Moses said nothing about priests. 15 And what we have said is even more clear if another priest like Melchizedek appears, 16 one who has become a priest not on the basis of a regulation as to his ancestry but on the basis of the power of an indestructible life.17 For it is declared:
“You are a priest forever,
in the order of Melchizedek.” [Psalm 110: 4]
18 The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless 19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God.
20 And it was not without an oath! Others became priests without any oath, 21 but he became a priest with an oath when God said to him:
“The Lord has sworn
and will not change his mind:
‘You are a priest forever.’”
22 Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantor of a better covenant.” (NIV)
Paul (CQ Believes) writing anonymously, as the Pharisee among Pharisee’s and Hebrew of Hebrews (as he described himself) who gave up his professorship as Gamaleil’s [greatest Hebrew professor of that day] prime student, exchanging it all for “the Way.” [Like leaving Cambridge for a rural High School Teaching Job] “The Way, as it was called, was following Christ, this was how it was derisively referred too. Paul said, “the Law is set aside, because it makes nothing perfect.” People confusing themselves with the seminary confusions also need to let go of this law, because it is counterproductive and worse. Paul says: Galatians 3: 10:
“For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”11 Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.” (NIV)
RELIGIOUS ARE CONFOUNDED

Now the religious are utterly confounded because they’ve run out of things to NOT DO and tell those coming to Jesus to NOT DO. The foundational picture is flawed as in their misunderstanding the Gospel is related to Moses, the seminarily confused understanding and teaching God wants us, actually “YOU” coming in the door to “BE GOOD.” Might as well preach Johnny B. Goode, by Chuck Berry, but at least the curse of Rock-N-Roll is fun. The curse of religion is horrible. Plain Talk, its good for them.
MEANINGLESS SKEPTICISM
The Lord Jesus is with me, knows where and how he has caused me to walk, and their skepticism is meaningless to him. He has been with me every moment since June 14, 1979 when I asked him into my heart and he came like a tempest, taking my heart by storm. Completely transforming my life from the inside out. I will let Jesus explain.
JOHN, UNIQUE AMONG THE APOSTLES, OUTLIVED ISRAEL AND THE LAW
John outlived Israel as a nation, therefore the law. No rational non-seminary confused can believe with No Jewish Nation, No Jewish Temple and No Levite Priests the law has any further effect. John was the disciple whom Jesus loved (how he described himself). Now, Mr. Dr. Bart Ehrman claims since there were no copyright laws in the ancient world the Bible is invalid since we can’t prove who wrote it. Having been led through a prophetic experience by Jesus’ Spirit, alive within me, the Lord, then led me to solve some math problems being a mechanical engineer (BSME). The math directly taken from the scripture in very simple word problems there. I wrote two books about God’s own boasts, that HE ALONE tells the things to come (Isaiah 41: 21-29) and as he boasts in Isaiah 46: 8-13 He, God, “Tells the End From The Beginning.” Their skepticism is a constant source of humor to me, Lord. GOD SPEAKS LOUD AND CLEAR FOR HIMSELF on the page inscripture. LOL.
JESUS IN THE GARDEN

Jesus, in John 14, we find Jesus speaking to his disciples in the Garden prior to his betrayal, trials (Sanhedrin/High Priest, then Herod, then Pontius Pilate, who sentenced him to death in spite of wanting to release him) beatings, abuse and then crucifixion, followed as hundreds of witnesses testified, his resurrection from the dead. I encourage you to carefully read John 14 in its entirety and place your faith in Jesus (See: John 19: 30).
John 14: 10, 11
“Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.” (NIV)
INDWELLING SPIRIT
So Jesus is here speaking of indwelling presence of God within him, as the source of the miracles he did. Many modern preachers entertain those of us in the know, claiming they obey God and we have to also. Jesus gave all credit and glory to God. Something is wrong there with these types of Gladiator Christians. Modern Judaizers!
John 14:
“Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. 24 Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching.” (NIV)
WORKS OF THE SPIRIT
So here his teaching involves this indwelling presence of God and not the common bass-crack-ackwards, nonsense, of Obey God and he will accept you. That’s Moses. God gave the law to silence the talk we often hear. See Romans 7. Paul could not and none of these can either. But Jesus has.
John 14: 26:
“But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (NIV)
HELLFIRE PREACHING
Nor the Hell Fire teachings of the FEAR of God, idiotlunacy, we hear from some TV stations and pulpits. The beginning of John 15 tells the classic, “I am the vine” … “abide in the vine” and when it says commands I have heard the seminarilly confused revert to the stone tablets and the mantra, God is unchanging, so Jesus is speaking of the commands of Moses. God has not changed but the contract was changed, as God clearly spoke through Jeremiah (Jer. 31: 31-34). Paul explained in Hebrews to try to enlighten those then confused by their heritage with the law.
“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. 17 This is my command: Love each other.” (NIV)
So much for the “GOOD CHOICES” gospel. See Romans 9: 16. Good choices and human desire don’t bring salvation. Who chose whom? I believe if you are reading this you are on God’s journey to finding him. Just relax and enjoy the ride he is the one doing this for you.
OBEY JESUS NOT MOSES
More of Jesus’ teaching we are to obey in John 15: 26, 27:
“When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me. 27 And you also must testify, for you have been with me from the beginning.” (NIV)
JESUS DEFINES SIN, RIGHTEOUSNESS, JUDGMENT
Jesus is speaking about the Holy Spirit again here. Next also in John 16: 7-11:
“But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. 8 When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment:9 about sin, because people do not believe in me; 10 about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer;11 and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.” (NIV)
Verse 9 defines sin completely in Jesus:
“… about sin, because people do not believe in me;” …” (NIV)
HOW THE HOLY SPIRIT FUNCTIONS
Jesus here tells us, as he told the Pharisees they would die in their sin because they did not believe in him.
“13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14 [ anybody ever seen this?] He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you.15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.” (NIV)
The Spirit of truth: 1) Guides you into the whole truth; 2) will not speak on his own; 3) will speak only what he hears; 4) will tell you what is yet to come; 5) will glorify Jesus because it is from Jesus he will receive what he makes known to you.
ONLY REASON GOD LOVES ANYONE
John 16: 27 is my favorite verse in the Bible:
“No, the Father himself loves you because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God.” (NIV)
JESUS MAKES A PROMISE
So you’ve struggled while others have an easy time of it, by your estimation and think the Lord is not on your side?
John 16: 33:
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (NIV)
Maybe things aren’t what they seem, with the poor and down trodden.
FAITHLESS LEADERSHIP DON’T BELIEVE GOD ANSWERS HIS SON’S PRAYERS
John 17 begins what the religious call the high priestly prayer of Jesus. John 16: 16-18:
“They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. 17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. 18 As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. 19 For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.” (NIV)
Sanctified means “set aside for a holy purpose” and does not mean “Christian Perfection” like Wesley claimed. Which has become a divisive doctrine of men featuring rule books and other trappings of religion’s nonsense. Oh I really don’t care about their skepticism Lord.
John 17: 20-23:
“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” (NIV)
The error of the seminarily confused is nowhere more blatant in that many of them betray their lack of faith, in the prayer here of Jesus. Narcissists and others from religion have used God to bolster their position so as to allow them to Lord it over others a command Jesus gave not to do. We will listen to what God has to say about all these teachers here below.
ONE WITH JESUS
Jesus came to make people, the ones the Father gives him, one with himself, guided by the Spirit of Truth and Paul the apostle, expert in the law was God’s chosen instrument to reveal himself to the Gentiles, Rulers and Governors and Israel. He separated Israel from Judah before Jesus came. In Hosea we find Ephraim (Norther 10 tribes of Israel) driven west, as Paul was also driven West by the Holy Spirit as we find in Acts.
God prophesied the New Covenant in Jeremiah 31: 31-34 very concisely:
“The time is coming”, ‘declares the Lord’, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. 32 It will not be like the covenant I made with their forefathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant though I was a husband to them” declares the Lord.
33 “This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time”, declares the Lord. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts, I will be their God and they will be my people. 34 No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying ‘Know the Lord’, because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the Lord. For I will forgive their wickedness and remember their sins no more.” ‘
A few questions present themselves here: 1) Lord who are all these teachers?; 2) Who sent them if you did not?; Lord why did you leave Judah out of verse 33? PAUL, GOD’S CHOSEN INSTRUMENT

Acts 9 11-16:
“The Lord told him, “Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying. 12 In a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on him to restore his sight.”
13 “Lord,” Ananias answered, “I have heard many reports about this man and all the harm he has done to your holy people in Jerusalem. 14 And he has come here with authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on your name.”
15 But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel. (NIV)
JESUS REFUSED TO TEACH GENTILES
In Matthew 10: 5 Jesus, himself tells his disciples:
“These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: “Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. 6 Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel.” (NIV)
Then again, Jesus in Matthew 15: 24 makes it crystal clear he was not there teaching Gentiles (Non Jews) stating it emphatically:
“He answered, ‘I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.’ ” (NIV)
Romans 15:8 Paul, who received his gospel from Jesus by revelation, and also taught it to the other apostles (Acts 15) clarifies things concisely:
“For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews on behalf of God’s truth, so that the promises made to the patriarchs might be confirmed 9 and, moreover, that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy.” (NIV)
Reading the Four Gospels will reveal Jesus refused to teach Gentiles.
Lord my prayer today is that you will receive those who believe you in the Spirit by your mercy and may you pierce their hearts now and make them one with you in Jesus crucified dead and raised again to life.
